Gene Verrecchio for Coro Calopsitta Cockatoo Bird Duette Fur Clips
Always desirable, an important, well documented book piece, signed and stamped with patent #1798867, dates to 1941. Wonderful design! The birds are covered in pave set rhinestones and are enameled in shades of blue from very dark to light colors. They came in several colors including pink and yellow. Largest bird measures 3~5/8" long x 2" across at the widest point. Overall the condition is very good - excellent vintage with all stones present and sparkling clear. Some light darkening on a few is noted but not noticeable. Enamel is mostly intact with very little wear at all to it. Rhodium plating is excellent as well.
