Spectacular Schreiner of New York Pin Pendant Necklace
This large brooch / pin can also be worn as a pendant on a chain and the original chain is present! The medallion measures 3 5/8" in either direction. It is stunning in size with domed construction. There are four molded art glass cabochons set in four perimeter areas. They are iridescent, reminiscent of midnight carnival glass. The center features an arrangement of purple, pear-shaped, cabochon stones and points up pale yellow stones. Open work silver plated metal makes a rich background for the stones and the outer edge of the medallion also has reverse set crystals and purple cab stones adding even more to the gorgeous look of this piece. Please note the extender which follows the Schreiner construction elements with inverted crystal stones and round, purple, cabochons.

Measures 23" total adjustable length
Very good vintage condition. All reverse stones are excellent with no issues. Silver plated metal finish is intact. The bright silver area finish on the back of the piece has black paint (?) intermittently applied on it. Looks intentional as it's nicely done in a design pattern. For a more antiqued look perhaps?
