Product Description
Fabulous art deco Eisenberg Original dress clip dating to the 1920's-30's era. This clip is large, long, and very showy featuring fantastic, extreme faceted, pink Austrian crystals. Giving them spectacular brilliance due to the many facets in each as well as the breathtaking pink color, these stones knock you out when viewing the piece. The three biggest ones are oblong squarish in shape and are set down the center of the clip. Each measure approx. 18mm long x (approx.)15mm across. The bottom stone is a brilliant cut round and is slightly different in color. It is most certainly an Eisenberg stone, may show the difference due to it being smaller than the others, and round. It could be a replacement as well, however it does not affect the beauty of this piece in any way.
This clip is in very good to excellent vintage condition with the only thing to note is the third stone down from the top has a small nick. Please see enlarged photo of it. This does not show when looking without magnification, or, at the least, very closely at a certain angle. Again, nothing that affects the beauty of the piece.
The brass metal is deeply embossed with it a "snakeskin" design. It has gold gilding which is mostly gone now, flashes of gold are seen here and there on the clip and the brass has a beautiful dark patina on it now. A terrific piece to add to your antique Eisenberg collection as well as a striking piece to wear.
