EARLY MIRIAM HASKELL CELLULOID FRINGE / BIB NECKLACE with BEAUTIFUL LONG MOTHER of PEARL SEASHELLS
Early Miriam Haskell fringe bib necklace dating to the 1920's - 30's era. Features a double link celluloid chain with super long, polished, mother of pearl, seashells which graduate very slightly in length until the end areas of the necklace which graduate more. The long shells measure from 2"- 2~1/4" long. Wonderful condition, celluloid links are excellent, shells are beautiful. Brass metal components show a dark patina now which could be brightened up a bit with a light polish. if desired. Most of us collectors like the dark patina to remain. A light breeze was blowing outside when taking the main photo so it it looks as if the shells hanging a bit to the left so please know they actually do hang straight. Please see photos for main description.
