Vintage, Sterling Silver, Carved Amethyst, and Rose Quartz Beads Necklace
Chinese Shou Beads
This Chinese Export necklace features twenty-seven, carved Rose Quartz and Amethyst 'Shou' beads. There is a uniquely carved rectangular rose quartz station at the center. Small, clear, quartz beads, are strung in between each gemstone bead. The rose quartz carved stone is bezel set in a sterling silver setting which closes with a push in /slide lock clasp. The back of the frame is marked Sterling (see close up photo). It is strung with pink silk thread
The rose quartz beads are larger than the amethyst beads measuring approximately 14mm.(average) The amethyst beads measure approximately 11mm.
The necklace measures approximately 17.5" long, opened from clasp end to end.
The center station measures approximately 1 1/4" across x 7/8" high. measures
A lovely, rare piece with beautifully carved Shou beads!

I have not cleaned or polished this necklace. All beads are in wonderful vintage condition and the sterling frame clasp closes properly. I have had it re-strung so it is now ready to wear.
