Amethyst beads were originally found on an antique Chinese necklace, each bead had tightly wound silk strand balls on top each bead. Too much of the silk was damaged so the beads were taken to make this necklace
High relief carving of a beautiful lady, looks like a Native American princess. She is intricately carved with great detail featuring flowers and leaves in her long hair and delicate facial features.
I purchased this cameo at least 10 years ago and designed the gemstone necklace around her. I had also made matching earrings which somehow got separated from the necklace for quite a few years. Happens now and then with all of the jewelry around here, lol! But this was the longest separation ever. I finally ran across the earrings, couldn't believe it, but here is the complete set now.
CONDITION
In excellent redesigned vintage condition. The amethyst beads are from a very old necklace and were hand polished and formed. They are not perfectly round but look great regardless. There is an inclusion that you see on one amethyst stone on one of the earrings. It is not a crack or break, just a natural formation there. Please view all photos for best description

Main area of the necklace is 15" long, has a 4" beaded extender making it 19" total adjustable length.
Cameo pendant measures 2 1/8" long (includes the bale) x 1 1/8" across
Sterling clip back earrings measure 1 1/2" long
