Runway Couture Statement 50's Plastic Sunflower Earrings
Stunning in size, measuring approx. 3" round in diameter, these clip back earrings feature delicate yellow plastic petals which encircle a pearly, golden yellow, plastic center, which is accented with a circle of yellow and golden topaz glass stones/ rhinestones. A slim ring of gold beading separates the flower petals from this inner plastic design. These have been in my collection of 40's-60's , funky, fun, unique, cool, wonderful, plastic earrings, some of which I am selling now. Very difficult to let them go...but hey, I've been collecting the more odd type vintage jewelry for some 30+ years and have decided to down size a bit. Just a little, lol! These have a large, round, copper, back plate that has a brass plated finish on it which now shows a dark patina. Love it! They are in very good - excellent vintage condition, no damage, just age appropriate light fading/ageing to the materials. Please keep in mind they are a tad heavier than most of the plastic earrings I will be listing due to the larger metal backing. However, they look amazing on, very runway couture for a summer pair so if you are a fashionista these will be perfect for you!
