"It originally came in a velvet carrying case which hung from a ladies wrist. Also,it would have had a large square padded box,with 'The Pandora' written on all sides. Rarely seen"

Brilliant gold plated finish on this this cylinder shaped compact which features a covered / hidden slide open powder area which has NEVER been used. There has never has been powder in it. The off white puff is minty and the mirror is perfect! Below that is a private storage area for lipstick or any other beauty needs a lady may want to carry with her, I thought even cigarettes may be something that would fit there
