Beautiful artist created and signed art pottery stoneware Japanese sake teapot & cups. The set has a soothing color palette featuring a sage green main color with creamy white abstract strokes over it. This is Shigaraki-Yaki Japanese art pottery, the stoneware shows the red clay from the area. All pieces are beautifully made so even though it's missing the lid I purchased it anyway.
All issues - the flask or teapot is missing the lid and there are 3 cups, I assume there was at least one more.
The set has no damage. Even though there are these issues the lovely color and artistic design seen here is worth displaying.
Flask measures 3" high x 5~3/4" across (handle side) x 5" across (spout side). The cups are 2" high x 2~3/8" across in diameter at the top on average.
