This unique necklace features spectacular, huge, white, faux pearls, with wired metal around each one. A bit wild and unruly but stunningly gorgeous! Looks to be from around the 1980's - 90's era.
Pearls graduate in size with the largest measuring a whopping 40mm round which includes the wired metal around it. Almost all are that large, the smaller pearls are the 3 seen at each end at the clasp area. Neck length measures approx.17.5" long (pearl area) with a 3.5 " extender making it 20.5" total adjustable length. Has a lobster claw clasp.
Beautiful vintage condition with no issues to note. The pearl coating is beautiful, especially since the pearls have been protected by the wires around them. Adding more interest to the piece is that the pearls are wired in both gold and silver plated wire.
The necklace has some weight to it, good thing the pearls are made of plastic!
