Spectacular Vintage, Czech, Jewel Tone Glass and Brass, Medallion Necklace.
This is a stunning necklace that catches the light, sparkling with subtle brilliance in colors of blue, green, red, and light amethyst purple teardrop shaped, faceted glass stones. These are the "old" colors that are not found in more modern jewelry. Especially the red which is a rose red shade, and the blue also. So beautiful! Set in between the multitude of colored stones are tiny faux pearls which add even more to the beauty of this medallion. In the center of this is a round, faceted, green, glass stone.
This station is circular and measures 2 inches in diameter. The neckchain is just as stunning with links set with these jeweltone glass stones making a breathtakingly exquisite necklace. This piece features high quality construction, it is finely crafted with lovely detail which includes a layered medallion which gives it wonderful dimension and form. More so than many of the others similar I've seen, as well as sold.
Measures 8 1/4 inches per side or a total of 16 1/2 inches in length. The double, filigree brass bales add 3/8 of an inch to the necklace length. The closure is a round, slide in locking clasp with a faceted blue stone which functions properly
