VINTAGE LAVALIER WATCH PENDANT NECKLACE with GEMSTONES & RHINESTONES

One of my "save a beautiful piece" designs, now a second piece which is in a new collection I decided to start titled  "Time Standing Still" . I have been going through jewelry here which I haven't looked at in a long time and found quite a few vintage watches. None are working, but all are too pretty to just do away with. So, I will be designing lavalier necklaces from most of them. Please check in often as I will be listing them as I complete them, one at a time.

This lavalier pendant watch necklace features a charming, 1940's, gold filled, ladies wrist watch. The band was removed  to make it into a necklace. The watch of course, is not working, but when designed to wear as a necklace it is sweet piece of history that can now be kept and worn for its' beauty and artistic value. The watch is signed Dorrance, a company I never heard of so can't give any info on it. The art quality is wonderful; the workmanship seen in the design detail is very pretty with a flower garden theme. The added adornments I added are are all vintage, down to the gold filled chain. Now a keepsake pendant which will make a beautiful addition to any vintage jewelry collection.

DETAILS

Redesigned for aesthetic value only, watch does not work.  Crystal has a few scratches which are not noticeable. Watch case and metal work is excellent. Now a lovely necklace that is beautiful to wear and well worth keeping for its' beauty. Jade and Quartz gemstones are seen in the top adornment which complement the garden theme. Came from a vintage Swoboda bracelet which had issues. Bottom drop is a 1940's Trifari piece/component
