Vintage Trifari Jelly Belly Heron by Alfred Philippe. Well documented, highly sought after, and in excellent vintage condition. Trifari jelly belly heron pin was designed by Alfred Philippe, in 1943/44. Design patent # 135775. Clear lucite forms the heron's body. Lucite "belly" is large and gives the striking look Trifari Jelly belly pieces have. This piece is especially elegant with its' clean lines and graceful stance. Features a ruby colored rhinestone eye and clear rhinestones on the plume and wings. All set in sterling silver metal
Marks: Trifari with a crown over the T, Patent # 135775, Sterling.
Measures 3 3/4 High " x 2 1/2" Wide.
This pin is in the original vintage condition as found - has been very lightly cleaned. No replaced stones, no repairs, lucite has a few, very faint, surface scratches indicative of age; nothing visible unless looking under magnification. Normal excellent vintage condition - no problems noted. Email with any questions.
