SUMMER OF FLOWERS

2020...the year the world changed.... Unusual events have made us deal with new ways to go about our lives and it has been a difficult challenge for all of us.  I added this post in the summer of 2020 as people became somewhat fearful and uncertain of the future. But no matter what's going on around us I want to keep the joy of summer, the joy of beauty in my heart, and hopefully in yours too! Since I love vintage jewelry I have collected these incredibly beautiful flower brooches. Years ago! Some I have sold, but I always will find another to replace one that I have let go. They were created long ago. Some almost a century back in time.  The world at the time these blossoms were made had troubles as well, some equally rough, some more troubling. But the artists back then created anyway, in all forms, allowing the beauty in their souls to flourish and offer to us a bit of magic too. Whenever I look at these amazing, glorious, sunny, happy, flower pins, (lol), I feel that joy of summer anew, and know that no matter what happens... we will get through it all... In this time and place. As each new season comes and goes I will always cherish the magic of my Summer of Flowers jewelry...
