Designed a few more enameled bracelets in my flower bouquet series, this one features a tropical theme. The first four I made were sold at an antique show in April 2011 and I did not get photos of them all before they sold. I managed to get a group photo of the next ones I designed but this being one of the latest is not pictured there. All of these bracelets feature vintage enamel flower pins, earrings, parts and pieces from the 1940's-60's era. Some have had to have the enamel restored but most I use are as found, then arranged and applied onto lucite or plastic bangle bracelets. Most of the bangle bracelets are vintage but I have found some very cool looking new ones which look great with the older flowers. These are time consuming to design and construct but certainly fun~
This bracelet features a fun tropical theme. I ran across the palm tree pin and saw it had some issues, namely one of the fronds was missing. But it is a well know 1930's - 40's brooch, the one with a monkey dangling from the tree, so I had to have it. The enamel on the fronds also needed help so I restored that too. Couldn't leave it to disappear forever because of its condition so here it is, a very whimsical piece which now looks fine. The massive green rose is fabulous as well, especially with the flower spray that vines over it. For fun I added a nut below the palm frond to depict a coconut. Too much, lol~This is a very 3-dimensional piece as they all are. The rhinestones in the flower spray give some sparkle to the piece. The bracelet itself is a wide clear lucite bangle which is vintage and fits the larger wrist. Sorry ladies with a small wrist, I am trying to find small bangles but without much luck so far. Check out the wide black bangle I have listed, the sea theme one, it is the smallest size so far. I do balance the design out so if the bracelet fits your wrist size correctly it will not turn over. This bracelet will look terrific on any time of the year. I will be adding more bracelets as often as possible, these really are a kick. If you can't fit into any of them at the least they look great in your jewelry area! All are signed with my Ellen original copper or silver metal tags. This bracelet measures 1~1/2" wide with an inside opening which measures 2~5/8" in diameter. If I left anything out and you need more info just email me with any questions you may have.
