Huge Striking Trifari Trifanium Gold Pinwheel Brooch

Resembling a swirling galaxy, this brooch features a spiked gold nugget center from which long, gold plated spikes seem to shoot out from. A 3 dimensional pin which was part of the Trifari Electra Collection which featured "Trifanium "gold plating. The fabulous design gives movement to the piece and its' large size is very impressive. Looks fabulous on, definitely a striking example of mid century modern jewelry.
Very good- excellent vintage condition with both brushed and bright gold plated finishes. The bright gold areas are rhodium plated as well adding more interest to the brooch highlighting those areas.
