Beautiful example of old art deco Czech glass beads in this rope length necklace. Features bright red, "lipstick" red, colored round beads which are separated by small black glass spacer beads. The red beads are opaque with tiny "dimples" in each one which are furthur enhanced with a dark gold color in most of the dimples. All hand knotted as well. All beads are in very good vintage condition, the necklace as a whole shows only age appropriate signs of wear. There is no damage to be noted. (other than the 1 missing bead)
There are 79 beads in total, were 80 originally, but one is gone. (see photo) The necklace measures a super long 57" inches (approx. 145 cm) in length. This allows one to double it and as there is no clasp, just pop it over your head and go! But also, some of you design jewelry using these lovely old beads so you sure would be able to create a necklace of your own using these beads.
