Product Description
Unusual and rare Czech porcelain portrait pendant features a stunning painted portrait of Queen Louise of Prussia as the subject. She is high fired on porcelain which is painted with a striking glossy black background and beautiful colors of blue, brown, white and a lovely flesh color for her skin tones. She is both a decal and also hand painted in areas which was customary at the time. This piece looks to be from the 1930's era but the antique brass metal has a distinct Victorian design along withs some Art Nouveau influences seen it it. Especially nice is the top piece which has a beautiful glass stone set there. Kind of like a Fleur De lis shaped glass stone. The neck chain is quite long and has no clasp. It looks to be original and I am showing it as found. I've had it for several years and have been inclined to keep some of the royal portraits but now it's time to let someone else enjoy this unique necklace. This necklace is in beautiful vintage condition, no issues to note. The pendant total length measure 3.5" long. The neck chain measures approx. 29'"long
