Large amber stone shows a variety of colors from shades of yellow to reddish orange. A hint of dark green is also present deep inside the amber. Very subtle but definitely there. Small brown black to black specks are scattered lightly across the inside top of the amber piece as well. Definitely inside the amber. Looks like the wind scattered some sort of plant particles onto the amber at some point. Don't know what these are, they have very interesting formations. A mystery...
The ring is hand wrought in silver, it is stamped 875 with the Russian star and sickle next to it. The number 12 and initials KM are also stamped on the shank. Looks like an Arts and Crafts period piece judging from the design of it.
Very good antique condition with this to point out:
I polished he metal just enough so I could see the marks, still has patina on the silver.
The amber has a bit of roughness on one edge. None of this is serious in my opinion but it is noted
please see the many photos I took to show all of this as best as I could.
Amber measures 1~3/8' long.
Weighs 7 grams total weight
