This lovely true vintage Sterling Silver compact with Guilloche enamel and hand-painted flowers is made in an unusual and attractive 8-sided octagon shape.
Inside are two compartments; one for powder and one for rouge.
The metal is sterling silver which was acid tested as the mark on it is impossible to make out
I have photographed the signature / hallmark but even enlarged it is too difficult to read.
Dimensions are 2-1/8" x 2-1/2" x approx. 3/8" thick
Weighs 2.29 oz / 64.9 grams
This beautiful piece is in excellent antique condition, free of damage, enamel is intact with no chips or cracks, and no dents to the silver, Extremely faint surface scratches are seen on the back indicative to age. This is normal and not considered a problem. All makeup is now gone
