Antique 14K Yellow Gold Micro Mosaic Brooch.
Nice size with 3 oval tiers / layers with the subject depicting The Panthenon. Black Onyx border and intricate gold metal work is seen along the edges of the gold frame.

Beautiful antique condition! No missing tiles, onyx stone is all intact as well, just amazing for a mid 19th century mosaic piece. The pin back locking mechanism is a replacement. It was expertly done long ago as you can see from the enlarged photos I took. Please view them carefully. It is so well done that it doesn't affect the beauty or wearability of the brooch.
Not marked as to metal content but has tested as 14k gold
