This Art Deco hinged bracelet features beautiful filigree work with 3 faceted kite/rhombus/diamond shaped smoky crystals in the center. These are accented by 2 dark smoky colored rhinestones. Rhodium plated, it is signed JHP which stands for John H. Peckham who was a well-known jewelry maker from Attleboro, Mass. The company started in 1893 and originated with this type of fine pierced jewelry. They lasted until circa 1934. This is an authentic period piece from the 1920s. This bracelet is wider than most measuring 3/4" in width with beautifully etched rims, top and bottom. The silver rhodium plated metal is intact, no wear showing and the main stones are lovely giving the piece an elegance due to their soft smoky color and unusual shapes. The bracelet has a slide closure embodying the Art Deco era's style. This original piece of jewelry exudes elegance and charm for women who appreciate vintage glamour. Looks as lovely with todays look as it did with the wardrobe styles back in the 1920's
As stated above, this bracelet is in beautiful antique condition.
