This pin features a exceptional deep cobalt blue center stone along with cobalt blue baguette rhinestones. A color rarely seen giving this piece a spectacular look. It is an art deco design, a stylized flower which, along with the big center stone and baguettes, has brilliant, clear, faceted, rhinestones which surround the big blue stone. Very 3 dimensional as the blue stone is set higher up than the clear stones which are set slightly below it. The petal area of the flower is dimensional as well with edges that curl up around the center design. Gorgeous! This brooch is in very good to excellent vintage condition for its age. Two of the tiny rhinestones which are set at the edge of the petal area have turned very dark and three of the larger clear stones in the center area of the flower have darkened a bit. Because those are faceted with more cuts all of the larger clear stones are extremely brilliant so it is not that noticeable. A tiny spot of wear to the gold rhodium plated metal is noted on the back of the brooch. The big center stone has 3 tiny, very tiny, specks which are not seen unless looking for them. Hardly noticeable but noted for exact description purposes. All in all a striking and beautiful piece.
