Gorgeous Heavily Decorated Venetian Wedding Cake Beads Necklace & Earrings Set
1930's Era
These beads are stunning with ribbon swirls of shimmering copper aventurine, pink enamel roses, blue and white enamel accents, and fired on gold, all on glossy black glass. Tiny, transparent, spacer beads are a light yellow color which set off the black and gold colors dramatically. The round beads graduate in size with a the largest ones in the center.
Center beads measure 16.7mm and 13.6 mm
Larger elongated beads of which there are 2 measure 26.5 mm long x 11.4. (they differ slightly from on another as they are hand made)
The matching earrings with the same beautiful decorations are set onto brass metal findings and are marked Italy on the back.
The stringing is tight to the ends with very little play in between the beads so no need to have it restrung. All beads are in lovely vintage condition, no damage at all. The brass metal on the earrings, as well as on the screw barrel clasp, has a lovely patina now.
Necklace measures 19~1/4" long, earrings measure approx. 3/4" round in diameter.
