Super big beads make a statement when you step out in this vintage necklace!
Dating to the 1960's it features enormous glass pearl beads accented by even more enormous gold plated embossed metal beads. These are accented by smaller ribbed plastic beads which have a brilliant gold metallic coating on them. The beads graduate in size with the largest pearl beads measuring 20mm and the giant metal beads measuring 21 x 28mm.
The necklace is in very good to excellent vintage condition, all beads have finishes and plating which shows little to no wear at all, the pearl beads show a beautiful luster. The only thing I will point out is that due to the weight of this necklace the silk string has stretched a bit, not much, still safe to wear, but I would recommend having it restrung at some point in time for more secure wearing. There is no clasp, just slip it over the head and go.
