This unique vintage necklace features gorgeous glass cabochon stones which are seen mostly in Czech jewelry. Looks to be from the 1960's era and I am sure the piece is not Czech, just has the Czech turquoise glass cabs which were placed in it by another maker/designer. I don't which company made this piece but whoever it was made a high quality, beautifully constructed, necklace. Striking, detailed, dimensional links, are formed into elaborate,vining, curved, tree branch designs, each with a glass cab nestled in the center of them. Aqua blue rhinestones are set as accents throughout, and the silver plated metal is embossed /textured to give a lifelike tree branch look to them. Really nice! The links and stones are graduated in size with the largest center stone measuring 18mm round and standing approx. 12mm high. The neck chain is just as beautifully done with embossed links ending at a slim hook clasp. This necklace also has nice weight, feels as good on as it looks.
