Product Description

Incredible Trifari Bracelet features huge, imitation, fire citrine, emerald cut, oblong shaped stones. Known as the "Trifari Tank Bracelet" which came in several colors of stones. These 3 are in a fabulous deep rich color best described as fire citrine. When I say large these truly are amazing in size measuring 1.0 x 0.8 inch// 2,5 x 2,0 cm. They are oblong shaped stones set in gold plated sterling silver and are open back step side emerald cuts. In between each stone are scrolled links with pave' set clear chatons/rhinestones. Pave' stones are set on the links and clasp also.
It is part of the set designed by Alfred Philippe in 1944 which includes the Trifari "Chrysanthemum" This bracelet is in Brunialti's American Costume Jewelry Book page 138 as well. It was illustrated in Vogue magazine in 1944 and can be seen in Becker's "Fabulous Fakes" page 160 among others.

The bracelet is in very good vintage condition indicative of age. The gold plating that was once over the silver now shows some wear. However, the huge stones are beautiful with very little wear as in fine scratches. No chips or flea bites. Awesome! All tiny stones are present.
Bracelet is marked with the older Crown over the T and is also stamped TRIFARI & STERLING. The sterling as well as the Trifari stamp are partially worn off but still able to be seen. Please keep in mind that vintage jewelry will often show varying degrees or signs of wear. No international sales. Please view all photos.
