Spectacular Baltic Amber Pendant Necklace In Sterling Silver
An Original Artisan Piece
Artist unknown, no marks anywhere. Very distinct workmanship, nothing like it found anywhere in my research so far.
Natural Baltic Amber is iridescent under UV light, see last 2 photos showing this.
Huge polished amber top piece
Smaller bottom bead is also amber which has been treated; it shows a gentle shimmer/ iridescence in it. Very beautiful and unique. Shows an odd color fluorescence under black light, somewhat muddy with the green only faintly showing beneath.
A natural turquoise stone is bezel set in the bottom tip of the piece.
Detailed spirit animals are done in the silver portions of the pendant. These include:
