Fabulous Louis Rousselet Swag Pin
Gorgeous brooch with a top section where the beads are all hand wired onto the pierced back component. Much like Miriam Haskell pieces but this is signed France and has a different pin back from what Haskell used at the time. Poured glass black beads in various sizes and shapes, black glass rose beads, and brass metal roses tucked into the mix black rose beads make this a stunning piece. Satiny gold colored accent beads add a nice contrast to the black ones. Add in the 4 rows of swags dropping from the top station and you have an especially stunning, rare, pin.
Beautiful vintage condition with a dark patina now on the brass metal.
A spot of coating has worn off one of the gold beads. This is minimal, only seen if looking very closely and does not affect the beauty of the brooch
