Rare vintage Czech or European necklace dating to the 1920's era. This one features the most unique, large, glass leaves which drop down from a brass chain. These are rare poured glass leaves which show fine detail and dimension in a lovely emerald green color. These dangle and sway gently as you wear the necklace. There are 14 leaves altogether, each measuring 1~1/2" long. The condition is very good to excellent vintage. I have pointed out (in the photos) that four of the glass leaves have very tiny nicks at the very top of them. This is only noticeable if looking very closely or under magnification and does not affect the beauty or look of the necklace at all. The brass has a nice patina on it now and the necklace has a simple spring ring clasp. The components seen in this piece are distinct to antique Czechoslovakian jewelry. These include the brass chain, simple spring ring clasp, and glass leaves which are really unusual. But the poured glass is a rarity for Czechoslovakian jewelry, could be French. Measuring 15~1/4" in length this necklace is sure be a favorite in any vintage jewelry collection as well as a beautiful necklace to wear.
