Beautiful Czech necklace dating to the 1920's era. Though unsigned it is unmistakably a Czechoslovakian piece with the distinct metal, glass and construction which makes Czech jewelry so desirable. This piece is especially beautiful featuring peking glass beads and cabochon stones which gives it the look of jade. There are 4 rows of small glass beads which link the larger stations together. These culminate in the center with an elegant drop. The metal is all brass that shows the lovely openwork metal along with scroll work and a rope design in each station. This piece is in very good antique condition, everything is excellent except for one glass cabochon stone which has a hairline crack, very faint, but noted. A small flake is also seen in that area, I noted it in the photos. This is not noticeable unless looking very closely and does not affect the beauty of necklace in any way. The brass metal has a beautiful patina on it which gives it a Victorian look. Everything on this piece is hand wired and it has a fold over clasp. If you have a lovely neck and can wear chokers this necklace will look amazing on you. If you simply collect Czech jewelry this will be a wonderful addition to your collection. Necklace measures 14~1/4' long. This may easily be lengthened by adding antique chain to it. Also as easily shortened by removing links. Measures 1~1/4" wide with the center drop area measuring approx. 2~1/2" down. Nice~
