Gorgeous Vintage French Purse

Completely beaded from top to bottom and side to side, including the handle.
Label inside reads Made in France. The clasp is framed and goes along the full length of the purse. This top is a "rolled" metal frame and it is also completely beaded with an intricate flower and leaf design. The metal has a gold plated finish
Both the front and back of this purse have a detailed and heavily beaded flower and leaf design with mostly white beads. Clear beads are used to define the flowers and leaves and to give them depth. The inside has a silk lining with has two pockets on each side.
In very good vintage condition this elegant bag has no beads missing except for a very few on the handle. There are a few very small areas that show discoloration on the outside of the purse but this is so minimal it doesn't detract from its beauty at all. The inside is lined with a creamy white silk (satin?) material which has just a tiny spot you can see when you open it (shown in the photo) I am sure all of this could all be professionally removed
Overall it is an exceptional example of the excellent design seen in vintage bead work.
Measures 7" across at the top and graduates to 8~1/2" at the bottom. It is 6~1/2" long from top to bottom and 1~1/2" deep. The handle measures 5" down to the top of the purse
