Amazing Italian wedding cake beads necklace features shimmering gold aventurine with pink enamel roses on black glass. Drizzled ribbons of aventurine are expertly and elegantly looped on each of the large beads and each bead is also accented with other enameling as in tiny blue and white dots as well.
What makes this necklace so exceptional is that it has such a variety of components here. Nine larger wedding cake beads are slightly graduated in size. This is subtle and adds a high quality element to this piece right from the start These focal beads are strung with glossy, round, black glass, beads in several sizes. Then there are the slim, rondelle, disc like, glass beads which are black as well but look to have a transparent gold luster glaze fired on top of them giving them a unique, black gold iridescent look to them. Gorgeous! Every bead also has a filigree gold bead cap on both sides. From the tiny ones on the smallest beads to the delicate looking larger flower petal types on the large beads. Add in the the black, hand knotted, silk, in between each bead and you have an exquisite, breathtaking, necklace!
