Big and chunky, yet very elegant, this is one of my favorite designs which incorporates the use of natural sea shells with extremely brilliant, sparkling, crystal. Organic natural shapes with precisely faceted shapes look awesome together. Shimmering, softly iridescent, the mother of pearl beads in this necklace are wild in their free form design. And the centerpiece crystal drop is spectacular in size measuring 2~1/2" long x 1~1/2" across! A massive...simply...massive, marquise cut crystal, love it, lol! Together with the mother of pearl beads it makes a statement to be sure. The round connecting piece is a vintage piece which features hand wired aurora borealis crystal beads and tiny glass pearls. Added to the necklace are faceted AB crystal beads in bronze and champagne colors. Made to be adjustable the extender is a vintage, gold plated, chain which has a gold plated S hook clasp. Attached to the chain is my copper Ellen Original hang tag as well as my EO cartouche on the back of the round center connector. This necklace is in excellent condition. The gold plated finish on the vintage chain is intact. The metal on the center connector has a nice patina now. The tiny Glass pearls and aurora borealis beads are excellent as well. Please view all photos for best description. The necklace measures 21~1/2" total adjustable length. The irregular shape of the curly shells vary in lengths averaging between 1" to 1~1/2" in length. The center drop length is approx. 3~1/2" long. This necklace looks fabulous on! It has some weight to it but is comfortable to wear, especially is you are used to the chunky, hunky, runway type jewelry.
