Product Description
This gorgeous Art Deco bird pin is a copy of the Boucher brooch which was introduced in the 1960's. It was signed Boucher and stamped with the number 9022 P
Especially unique, this swirled design shows the bird in flight with beautiful motion and form.
The original pin featured brushed gold and silver plated feathers as well as light texturing in the leaves to show detail. It was a bit heavier as well. This piece is all gold plated in a bright finish but with the same clear pave' set rhinestones and 3 dimensional form as the original. It is unmarked.
I purchased it to offer this example for sale as a beauty in it's own right. Also to let new collectors and buyers to see and compare good restrikes to the originals. Many copies that are well made, such as this piece, become more valuable as time goes by are good pieces to add to any jewelry collection
