Gorgeous Art Deco Flower Spray Brooch
1930's - 40's Era
Signed, Boucher Phrygian Cap Mark
Features a beautifully designed three dimensional form. The brooch is expertly constructed with fabulous Marcel Boucher design elements. Notice the upraised flowers which themselves are three dimensional with centers that also stand out. And the formation of the leaves too. The brooch is also silver rhodium plated. Especially rare are the three, faceted, oval stones seen here. These are paste stones in a stunning pinkish rose color. The other stones are pave set paste rhinestones stones which originally were clear but as you see many have now darkened. But this does not detract from the beauty of this brooch which in my opinon makes it even more lovely. When looking at it normally and not enlarged (as my photos are) it is simply breathtaking.
Beautiful vintage condition with all stones present, some darkened. Bright rhodium plated finish is also very good with a hard bright finish. A few spots on the back show a bit of wear/darkening. This is very minimal. The mark is very faint, I didn't get a good photo of it but you can see it a bit in the last photo.
