Product Description
Softly shimmering, these icy pink plastic clip back earrings date to the1950's era.
They are very cool featuring a frosty, pearly, textured layer which gives them a marbled look when viewing them while they're on the ear. A closer look shows this layer is made with flakes of mother of pearl which has been applied to the plastic beneath. This gives them that iridescent shimmer, really unique and pretty. Adding even more interest to them is their shape which is round but wavy with exceptionally brilliant pink aurora borealis rhinestones set all along the top outer edge area.
The clip back mechanisms are silver plated which is the only metal used in the earrings
They are in very good vintage condition measuring approx. 1~1/4" round
Photos are the best description, keep in mind they are enlarged to show fine details
Note: In one photo it looks like there may be a rhinestone missing. It is not, this is just a space which is a bit wider in that rim area. There is no hole there where a stone could have been in.
Perfect for the spring summer seasons
