Rare vintage Scapular medal for runners or track athletes with winged foot below the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The reverse side shows Mary holding Jesus, however I may be wrong on this as according to info I've found elsewhere this is Our Lady of Mount Carmel. This medal is quite old, 1940's era, and was very beloved by the owner as it's very smooth in areas and you can see it was held and rubbed over and over. The back figure is so smooth that the details are gone which left just the outline. It was precious to whoever owned it. Made of all silver medal but I don't believe it's sterling silver. It came with the chain which I believe to be original to it.

Neck chain measures approx. 24" in length
Has no clasp, but will pop over a smaller persons heads so I'm thinking this was owned by a lady
Scapulars are worn as a safeguard in danger & a special pledge of peace and protection till the end of time
