Vintage Massive Rhinestone Cuff Bracelet
I purchased this over 20 years ago in a vintage jewelry collection, some of which I have decided to sell now. Wildly massive it's a stage/movie piece or perhaps a Mardi Gras bracelet which could be anywhere from the 1950's-1970's era. I thought maybe it was a Wendy Gell piece as it resembles her bracelets but there's no signature on it anywhere. The center stone is lucite/plastic, but the rest of the stones are rhinestones. A very heavy bracelet it weighs 5.8oz or 163 grams. It is too big for my wrist to wear but I love looking at it, lol. The purple and green colors are deep and rich, the back is brass metal and all stones are prong set except for the center one. Condition is very good for a piece like this. The metal shows some scratches but being the back it will not show when wearing it. You can see the old glue in places but again, this does not show unless looking very closely. The back edges are also different from each other , one end is straight while the other is curved. So, a bit of a mystery piece here. no matter what, if you love big fabulous jewelry you are sure to love this!
