Product Description
One of my more interesting...off the wall, a bit weird, designs which is really geared for my bug lovers; yes, they're out there, lol. Of course I'm one of them too!
So here are the specifics:
1930's wicked looking beetle (but actually harmless) which is enameled; yes, I enameled him for a softer look. He wanted to be less scary looking. I mixed white pearl enamel with purple making a very pretty, soft, blended shade. He features a big, art glass cabochon in the top of his body. I added a vintage, Venetian glass bead which drops from the bottom center of the beetle, then added two, poured glass beads below that making a very cool, long, dangling, drop. All of these components are vintage. The neck chain area is a new necklace featuring graduated flower links which are set with black rhinestones, the metal is plated in a gun metal finish . I finished the filigree backings, where the beetle is attached to, with black enamel Striking piece to wear anytime, but even more so around Halloween. Has my Ellen Original cartouche on the back.
