Lovely cameo pendant features a large, clear, reverse carved glass cameo. Beveled glass edges make an extra high quality design element to the pendant which is bezel set in stunning, 3 dimensional, gold plated setting. This setting is unique in that it features upraised, embossed, ornate roses that are setting up from the very bottom of a larger, flat, rectangular, metal frame. They have an antiqued gold metal finish on them making them stand out. Gorgeous! The pendant hangs from a beautiful neck chain made with a stunning, long, gold plated chain which is made with elongated, lightly embossed, links, ending at a spring ring clasp. Wonderful necklace from the 1950's era.
This necklace is in beautiful vintage condition, no issues to note other than some wear to the gold finish on back and front flat area of the pendant. Finish on the chain is intact, glass cameo is excellent.
I am not sure if the chain is original to the pendant but it blends in very well with the pendant. This is how it came so I'm leaving them together. Beautiful!
The pendant length measure 2" long x approx. 1.5" across. Glass cameo stands up from the roses in the metal frame adding dimension to the piece as well.
The neck length measures approx. 27.5" long
