OOAK VINTAGE CZECH NECKLACE
ELLEN ORIGINAL DESIGN
Sure do love vintage Czech jewelry and have bought and kept many pieces that were not completely intact just for the sheer beauty and fine construction details they show. So, here is a necklace I created using some of those beautiful and unique components. A few newer pieces and elements are seen in this piece which give the necklace my own unique look
This is a lavalier which features a filigree brass metal station which has a purple faceted glass stone on it. Two very delicate chains with very old, purple, faceted, glass beads and genuine freshwater pearls drop down on either side of it. Below that is another smaller connector, I believe it was originally a button, which has prong set, paste rhinestones in it. This sparkling little item dates to the late 1800's era. Below that is a semi ornate, brass, Czechoslovakian, pendant which has a reversed carved glass stone (I added that) in the center of it. A small, black, glass cabochon is set at the top, and four, small, bezel set, glass cab pearls peek out just below that. The extremely tiny glass spheres you see on that bottom drop are new. I found them so enchanting that I added them to the first two links on the neck chain as well as to my Ellen Original cartouche on the back. The 1960's neck chain is beautifully embossed along with gold beading and in a rich gold plated finish. I added a Czech art glass bead at the end of the extender chain. Necklace measures 17" total adjustable length. Total center drop length measures 4~1/8". The photos do not show the true of the piece. Importantly, you will have a one of a kind art necklace which, by the way, looks fabulous on.
Metal information:
Gold and silver plated metals, base metal on neck chain and silver plated items is unknown, the other components are made of brass.
