The information about this company is limited. Incorrect information is found on the net that this is the same company as the Star Novelty Company of Chicago. Star Novelty Company used the mark Staret. There is NO reference to this company [Star] being associated with the Star Novelty Company/Staret. Costume jewelry with the mark "STAR" is of nice quality but not necessarily high quality. Some of the rhinestone as well as enameled jewelry is better.  Signature Designs: Thermoplastic jewelry, enameled jewelry, rhinestone jewelry, and figural jewelry.

 Desirable to own at least a few good pieces as it's not that available. Makes a nice addition to a vintage jewelry collection
