Ellen Original Design
With Authentic Victorian, Antique, Components
The necklace itself features an authentic watch fob chain. It is stunning, very large, with each link beautifully embossed. It is also heavy and wide, a masterpiece of old craftsmanship and design. Since the clasp was damaged (don't know how that could be due to its' thickness and size), so I removed it and made this necklace by adding the antique, armoured, swordsman pendant. It matches the chain as if it was made for it with a patina that matches the silver plated metal of the chain. This pendant is a sword which depicts a soldier in full armour, and a crown and a lion at the top/ hilt. It is very detailed featuring gold plating for the sword itself, the crossguard, and the hilt. Seems to represent England (my assumption due to the crown and lion) The pendant hangs from the hook which was originally attached to the clasp. It's very substantial.
What was not part of the chain : The vintage, embossed, heart link was added to make it longer. The antique (simple) spring ring clasp, and...of course, the sword.
I had to add a back station to the sword so it could hang as a pendant should. It is very very old, part of a victorin lot I bought many moons ago, lol
