Product Description
Exquisite enamel and pave rhinestone brooch from the 1930's era. Though unsigned his one has to be designed by one of the major jewelers from that era, most likely Alfred Philippe for Trifari, or Adolf Katz or Verrichio for Coro. This piece features a large enameled exotic flower which has blue glass beads set onto wires in the center of the flower depicting stamens. It is awesome in the 3 dimensional body and form of it with a furled over petal which is set with pave rhinestones. 2 other flowers accent this main blossom, both with pave set rhinestones set throughout. Enameled leaves, also with pave set stones in them, rise up gracefully behind the flowers, truly a work of art. The construction is amazing, the pin is solid and heavy with rivits joining the flower heads to the stems behind them. The condition is excellent vintage but I have replaced most of the rhinestones which had darkened over time. I have restored these pieces for my customers for many years so please be assured it has been done professionally and properly, just can't let these beauties languish with dark and lifeless stones, lol! If you have a piece you want restored just email me about it. The gold plating has faded over time, you can still see a bit of the rose gold finish in places on the back. This just adds to the wonderful history and age of the piece, does not detract from its beauty in any way. This is a spectacular brooch which will be the crown jewel in any deco era or any other vintage jewelry collection. Measuring 4~1/8" long x 2~1/2" across this pin is also spectacular on, simply divine~
