Rare Holiday Christmas Reindeer Brooch
1940's Retro Jewelry

Dating to the 1940's era this pin is beautifully made. The reindeer is heavy and artfully designed with striking 3 dimensional body and form. It's very elegant as well, one of the most graceful designs in reindeer jewelry (in my opinion). Made of silver plated metal with red rhinestones in the antlers and one red stone for eye.
The pin is in good vintage condition with just a few small spots where the silver plating has worn down. Nothing that affects the beauty of the piece, but noted. I have seen this piece in a book at some time but don't have that info available at the moment.
Unique design, this piece is fine for both men and women to wear
This would be a desirable piece to add to any vintage jewelry collection but especially to the earlier Christmas jewelry collections
