Rare JONNE Starfish Flower Earrings
Jonne was produced by H.M. Schrager & Co, the Jonne name was used in the 1950s and 1960s. So much like Miriam Haskell jewelry, Jonne is often mistaken for Haskell pieces with hand wired intricate beading, and high quality construction.
These earrings are especially charming with their starfish design and turquoise glass seed beads. Some may think these look like flower blooms but to me, right from the moment I saw them, they were starfish. The center decorations feature clear rose montee crystals with a larger rhinestone set in the center. These set on top of delicate "flower petals" made of gold plated metal.
The earrings are clip back, with the JONNE mark and pat. number which partially can be made out. It reads 25889?? with the last numbers too blurry to make out. However they are easily dated by the first numbers, patent date 1952
Beautiful vintage condition with no issues to note
They measure approx. 1 ½ inches from point to point
