Ok. so.... who has seen this type of poured glass? With these protruding bumps? The way it's used in this bracelet gives it a very cool, look. Weird, but...cool...especially if you like flying saucers, lol! All kidding aside it is quite beautiful. Aqua blue glass set in sterling silver links with an intricate slide in box style clasp with safety chain. Looks Asian, probably Chinese. I've never seen glass like this so if anyone reading this has and can give me any information about it please share it.
I am not sure of the age, know it's a vintage piece, I'm thinking perhaps anywhere from the 1930's- 1940's era. It is stamped silver on the back of the clasp. Another telling clue about the age is that it's made for a very small wrist. I know Orientals ladies are small boned for the most part as well. It fits my 6~1/4" wrist nicely leaving a bit of room for movement. So on a 6~1/2" wrist it may not move much at all
The glass with links measure 17 mm round on average so the poured glass set in them is a tad smaller. Slight variations in everything is normal as it's hand wrought
