Product Description

Neiger Brothers 1920's - 30's Oriental Theme Brooch
Uniquely constructed pin features green Peking glass beads which include rare shoebutton beads that are wired onto the top of the brooch component
Geisha girl coins, glass beads, and slender brass findings make up the 5 dangling rows which drop from the curved pin bar.
Beautiful patina on the brass metal now. Some black spots on the back of the Geisha coins which can be polished out but would leave a bright shiny finish.
Distinct Neiger Bros. construction and design from the 1920-30s era
Always unique, highly desirable Czechoslovakian design with
Peking glass & embossed, gilded brass metal
curved pin bar measures approx. 3" across using a soft tape to add in the curve
pin bar measures 2~3/4" straight across x 2~3/4"  long (longest center drop)
More detailed information on the Neiger Bros. :
Max & Norbert Neiger, brothers
 Gablonz, Czechoslovakia,
(part of Bohemia’s famed glass-work & jewelry industry)
Amazing quality, unique designs, the brothers had a unique vision creating stunning jewelry
using  gorgeous, ornate, components and stampings. This in combination with enamel,
Czech glass, & exquisite metal filigree work made their works especially outstanding.
Tragically, the creative talent represented by Max & Norbert
& the Neiger family ended during the Holocaust.
