Gold filled with a brass base metal
Lovely detail in the metal work featuring delicately etched or engraved designs in the setting and a fine twisted "rope" seen around the bottom of the bezel setting. The hand carving is nicely detailed and it is artist signed on the back of the shell itself. Also hallmarked on the pin clasp mechanism
Very good - excellent antique condition
